Petit exemple en partage :
Out of tune playing is the result of out of tune practising. Out of tune practising is the result of practising too quick and in a careless way. Every time you practise sloppily and out of tune, you teach your fingers to go to a wrong place.
This really is more than a waste of time : it's senseless. And please, don't think that when you practise the rough outlines, that by erosion things will fall more and more into place. The contrary might happen : you might get used to it and finally accept all this approximate stuff. Your potential mastery will be lost.
